Room to fabricate the ductwork and piping. Room to keep equipment under cover. Room to be ready when the job calls for it.
IMS's expanded warehouses support in-house sheet metal, piping and plumbing fabrication. The work starts here, before it reaches the jobsite.

Six divisions bring the mechanical work together, from the CAD model to the final connection.
Sheet metal / coil line
In-house coil lines and plasma cutting support duct fabrication for multiple projects at once.
Spec sheetWelding
Certified crews for hot and chilled water systems, with shop fabrication for stainless condensate duct, grease duct and high-pressure plenums.
Spec sheetPipe fitting
Pipe fitting and millwright crews handle split systems through large chilled and hot water systems.
Spec sheetHVAC
Commercial heating and cooling, including chilled water, hydronic heating, refrigeration and energy recovery systems.
Spec sheet3D / imaging / CAD detailing
2D and 3D coordination drawings turn the model into fabrication plans and catch conflicts before installation.
Spec sheetPlumbing
Plumbing systems for tenant finish-outs through high-security government installations.

A family trade.
A company of his own.
Edgar R. Kleck III, known as Kip, grew up around the plumbing and piping business. In 1996, he founded International Mechanical Services.
His vision put mechanical and plumbing work under one roof. Today, the San Antonio shop brings fabrication, coordination and installation together.
